Purchasing, Shipping, Refund Policies and Information

Online Shop 14 Day Money Back Guarantee
In the event you are required to return a product, we request all returns or exchanges be made within 14 days of the date indicated on your invoice. After 14 days your order will be assumed satisfactory and claims of shipping errors or requests for returns or exchanges will not be accepted. Parts can not be returned if they have been used to test a product or tried to be fitted or are marked or damaged in any way. They must be in ‘as new’ condition, in the original packaging and are subject to the discretion of Electrical Results. All returns will be refunded within 5 business days less the postage and handling fee. We will not accept goods that have been returned without prior approval from Electrical Results. All unapproved returns will be refused and returned to the customer at the customer’s expense. Labour will not be refunded and this 14 day money back guarantee does not apply to our installation, repair and service work. Restocking fees will apply to approved special order items and we do not refund postage and handling. If a wrong item is sent then we will cover standard Australia Post costs only.

Purchasing from our online shop
When purchasing online please ensure you understand the product, whether it suits your needs and whether you will require installation. Installation is additional to any of your online purchases. Any further information is available via email email@electricalresults.com.au.

All pictures and specifications shown on our website are guides only and are subject to change without notice due to manufacturer improvements.

Postage and handling
One Postage and handling charge will be charged per delivery. Our postage and handling charges include the actual postage costs, packaging materials, warehouse costs, postage insurance and handling of the product. Electrical Results charges a calculated postage and handling fee based on weight and location. The rate will be worked out automatically after you enter your shipping address. If the shipping calculator malfunctions or you choose an incorrect option we will contact you for extra payment before sending the goods or you can choose a full refund. Electrical Results uses a Courier service or Australia Post to ship throughout Australia. Purchases are only sent when payment is received in full. If an item is returned to us and the delivery address was correct then a re-delivery fee will be charged to send the item to you again.

New Zealand Postage
All New Zealand postage now includes tracking. Standard Air Mail will take up to 6+ business days to arrive, International Express will take 2-4 business days to arrive.

Dispatch and Delivery Time
We process all orders ASAP, during our normal operating hours. We will notify you via email that your order has been received and when it is dispatched. We dispatch products every business day, Monday to Friday at around 1 pm. Your goods will be shipped from Brisbane, Australia and normally takes 2-10 business days but may take longer if there are postal delays. Please allow up to 20 days for overseas delivery. If available we will email you a tracking number for your parcel. All product prices and delivery charges quoted on this site are in AUD.

Privacy
Information collected during your purchase is confidential between the purchaser and Electrical Results except as may be required by law.

Mains powered fixed wiring parts
Some items on our website, such as 240v replacement vacuum motors, lights, fans, 240v circuit boards, elements and thermostats are required to be installed or replaced by a licensed electrician.

Warranty

Products purchased from Electrical Results are backed by a Manufacturer’s warranty (Conditions apply) unless otherwise stated by us in writing and shall be warranted by the manufacturer to the extent stated by the manufacturer. It is the Customer’s responsibility to establish the warranty relationship with the manufacturer by ensuring that warranty cards or other registration requirements of the manufacturer of any product supplied by Electrical Results are complied with.

The products supplied during installation, repair or service work by Electrical Results shall be warranted by Electrical Results for a period of up to 12 months from the original purchase or installation date or by a Manufacturer’s warranty (whichever is less)(Conditions apply) unless otherwise stated in writing by us and shall be warranted by the manufacturer to the extent stated by the manufacturer or supplier and Electrical Results is able to pass on the benefit of such warranty to the purchaser. It is the Customer’s responsibility to establish the warranty relationship with the manufacturer by ensuring that warranty cards or other registration requirements of the manufacturer of any product supplied by Electrical Results are complied with. After the 12 month warranty period labour, materials and call out fees will be payable. The workmanship supplied by Electrical Results shall be warranted for up to12 months from the original invoice or installation date.
In the event of any of the works or materials supplied by us suffering an electrical or mechanical failure or fault within the 12 month warranty period we will at our choice either repair the fault, supply the services and materials again or pay for all parts, labour and service call out fees required for the works and materials to be repaired to normal working order subject to the following terms and conditions.

Limitations
The maximum amount payable by us under this warranty is limited to the price paid by you for the works inclusive of GST. This warranty does not extend to products used in the works which are not manufactured by us. Such products are covered only by the manufacturer’s warranty and any guarantee expressed or implied by mandatory provisions of law. This warranty as far as may be permitted by law excludes liability for any consequential loss or claims for damage to persons or property resulting either directly or indirectly from any failure of fault of the works. This warranty shall not apply unless the works have been paid for in full.

What is not covered by this warranty
This warranty does not cover the following and the purchaser / customer is at all times responsible for the repair and testing of defects caused by :-
-Consumables including light globes, fluorescent tubes, batteries, fuses or filters,
-Normal maintenance costs,
-Product recalls,
-Damage caused by: Negligent, accidental or deliberate misuse, Unauthorised repairs or modifications, unlicensed installations, Liquid penetration, improper voltage, fire, misuse, abuse, neglect, alterations by or negligence of the consumer, incorrect or incomplete installation or operation by the consumer, Acts of God, vermin, pests, insects, foreign matter entering the product e.g. dirt and moisture, Rust or corrosion, Abnormal or excessive usage, Materials or work not supplied by Electrical Results, Electrical interferences, power surges, voltage fluctuations, lightning, external fields.
-The purchaser is responsible for all transport costs and in-transit insurance costs. Electrical Results will not accept responsibility for damage to the product caused by unsuitable or inadequate packing.
-For all Products – Labour and travel costs will be charged if the product is not installed by Electrical Results for on site visits. Repair and/or replacement charges will apply in respect of such damage.

Making a claim
To make a warranty claim, You must notify us in writing of any claim under this warranty within the warranty period. You must notify us within seven (7) days of the fault developing. The Invoice must be fully paid for a warranty claim to proceed. Proof of original purchase, the original invoice number and a detailed fault description, must be presented when making a claim. Your notification must be forwarded to us at PO Box 5260 Algester Qld 4115 or email@electricalresults.com.au. Claims on products which are required to be installed by a licensed electrician must be accompanied by a copy of the Test Certificate supplied by the installing electrician. You must bear your own expenses incurred by you in making a claim under this warranty. For products only purchased from our store or repaired at Electrical Results workshop, the purchaser is responsible for all transport costs and in-transit insurance costs if the product or part has to be returned to Electrical Results. Electrical Results will not accept responsibility for damage to the product caused by unsuitable or inadequate packing.

We must be contacted to arrange a return. The product should be returned to Electrical Results; details of which appear above. Photographic proof is required of damaged items next to their packaging, This can be emailed to speed things up. Items will be replaced or repaired if faulty, torn, or dead on arrival. No claims for works under this warranty will be accepted after 12 months from the date of practical completion of the works.

This warranty document relates to domestic situations only.

Items damaged in transport
For goods damaged or dead on arrival please contact Electrical Results via phone or email on email@electricalresults.com.au immediately and provide a detailed description of the issue. To make a claim, You must notify us in writing of any claim within 48 hours of delivery. Photographic proof is required of damaged items next to their packaging. We will contact you once we have all the information with the outcome of your request and provide further instructions.

OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS
Electrical Results reserves the right to:
Determine whether to provide a customer with a credit, repair or replacement item as appropriate;
Apply a re-stocking fee of up to 20% of the original purchase price;
Assess the condition and age of the returned goods (including its packaging) prior to authorising a credit, repair or replacement;
Refuse a credit, repair or replacement under certain circumstances.
