Ducted vacuum switch hoses have a switch on the handle which allows you to switch your ducted vacuum system on or off at any time without going to the inlet. This can be useful when the phone rings or there is a knock at the door whilst you are vacuuming.
Our switch hoses are fitted with a tapered cuff to suit all inlet valves and come with a vacuum hose handle to suit all standard vacuum wands and tools and are compatible with all built in vacuums, ducted vacuums, central vacuum systems, including brands such as Vacu Maid, Valet, iCentral, AstroVac, AussieVac,Auskey, Attila, DAS, Cyclic, Hoover, Lux, Slient Master, Electrolux, Electron, EVS, Hills, Volta, Premier Clean, Beam, Typhoon, Monarch, Pullman and more.
If you are upgrading from a standard hose to a switched hose please check all of your inlets as they must have 2 pins on the inside the flap of the inlet in order for the hose to work. See picture below.
Switch hoses are not compatible with very old inlets that have a switch on the flap or a single ball bearing switch.

We sell replacement inlet valves that are compatible with switch hoses and we can upgrade your old inlets to new.
